if somebody's going to make it, that somebody ought to be you

So graduation was today, and my sister was thrilled to be done with high school. I'm so happy I was able to capture all of the graduates throwing their caps into the air (multiple people had a hard time finding theirs after they were done)

After graduation everyone waited outside (in the rain) to watch all of the graduates pass by on the bus, on their way to a fun night called project graduation. Our little town has always had this fun, and loud tradition: after events such as state championships and graduations, the buses are escorted through town by fire trucks and police cars.

 {while we were waiting I got a sandwich}

  3. Awesome bokeh photos :) Do you shoot in manual, or auto or any other mode? I'm curious :)

  4. @Julia — for most of theses photos I used manual (the fire truck ones) and I also use manual when I'm taking continuous shots [so the camera doesn't have to re-focus] :)
