crème brûlée french toast

This is an amazing, and sweet variation of the classic french toast. It's almost more like dessert than breakfast or brunch, but delicious at any meal :)

ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar
18 oz round french bread
2 tbs. corn syrup
5 eggs
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cup half and half
1/4 tsp. salt

{melt butter, brown sugar and corn syrup in a saucepan}
(mix half and half, eggs, vanilla and salt in a bowl)

{pour into a 9x13" pan, and spread evenly}

{lay bread slices in the pan}

{pour egg mixture over the bread — refrigerate over night}

{bake at 350˚ for 35-40 minutes}

(the 2 pictures above look a little odd, but I promise it's delicious!)

I hope you guys enjoy this recipe! :)
